The novelty bears the name REGZA 55X3 and will hit stores in Japan in mid-December 2011.

The TV shares the same 55-inch Quad Full HD (QFHD) display that is found in the Toshiba ZL2 TV set. Resolution is 4096×2160. Asus has launched its new Full HD 3D  LCD display monitors VG236 and PG276 for Full HD movie enjoyment and gaming experience.

Asus 23-inch VG236 and the 27-inch PG276 are claimed to be the world’s largest 3D gaming monitor and both are fully attuned with the NVIDIA  3D Vision kit.

The newly invented VG236 and PG276 feature 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness and response time being 2ms  and as well as equipped with Anti-reflective Color Shine Technology. They both have Dual-link DVI and HDMI inputs.

Sharp has developed a 3.4-inch 3D touchscreen display with the industry’s highest brightness and the ability to switch between 2D and 3D modes. Sharp’s new LCD features 480×854 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 500cd/m2 brightness. Sharp has also developed non-touchscreen version.

NEC has come out with another eco-friendly Full HD monitor in the form of the AccuSync AS231WM. This new 23-inch monitor is compliant with Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Silver, and consumes 50% less energy compared to regular monitors of the same size. In terms of performance, the AS231WM provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and has D-Sub and DVI-D connectors.

The AccuSync AS231WM will begin shipping in May for an estimated street price of $269.
