After the 500GB, 640GB and 1TB models, Western Digital (WD) adds the 750GB model to the Scorpio Blue 2.5-inch hard drive line. Unlike the 1TB model, the new Scorpio Blue drive is 9.5mm height, fitting most notebooks.

The Scorpio Blue 750GB utilizes WD’s 375 GB-per-platter areal density and Advanced Format technology to increase media format efficiencies. It features also WhisperDrive, ShockGuard and SecurePark technologies. The drive has a rotational speed of 5400RPM, 8MB cache and uses SATA 3Gb/s interface.
